Golfer's elbow, or medial epicondylitis, causes pain and inflammation on the inner side of the elbow. At Ultraphysiocare, our physiotherapists use proven techniques to relieve tendon pain and restore full forearm and grip function.
Golfer's elbow results from overuse or repetitive stress on the flexor tendons attached to the medial epicondyle. It is common among golfers, throwers, and those performing repetitive wrist flexion activities. Symptoms include inner elbow pain, forearm stiffness, weakness in the wrist and hand, and tingling into the fingers.
Without proper treatment, medial epicondylitis can progress to chronic tendinopathy. Physiotherapy targets the root cause — tendon degeneration and muscle imbalance — to restore function and prevent recurrence.
Strength testing, palpation, and movement analysis to confirm diagnosis.
Myofascial release, TENS, and ultrasound to reduce tendon inflammation.
Progressive loading programme to rebuild tendon resilience and grip strength.
